Aside from the amazing art and explosions, taking a week to disconnect from the multi-tasking distractions of my everyday life always refreshes me and serves as a reminder not to get too distracted by the toys and technology of modern life.

Blogging from 30,000 feet
August 5th, 2009Now that I can blog from 30,000 feet using my iPhone, maybe I’ll actually remember to update my blog more often. I have to say, though, that I’ve gotten into the habit of updating Facebook with a lot of the kinds of things I used to put up here. Brightrock seems to only get an update when I have a big trip to brag about.

June 26th, 2009From what I could tell scanning through the morning news on the Tivo, there was about 2.75 hours of Michael Jackson coverage on CNN, with the remaining 15 minutes devoted to other less important stuff: Iran, Iraq, North Korea, health care legislation, etc. This cartoon sums it up nicely . . .
