I broke down and purchased a “water oven” (aka “Sous Vide Supreme“) so I could experiment with my favorite new cooking technique. Here are the initial results:

So, as my brother Charlie is constantly reminding me, I’ve been neglecting Brightrock for quite a while.  In part, that’s because I haven’t had too much to say on my favorite topic:   “here are all the pictures from my trip to . . . ”

In my new role at work, I don’t have quite the same travel opportunities.  So, not so many pictures to share.    The last few months have mainly been spent settling in to the new house and keeping busy at work.  But, just to get Charlie off my back, I’ll share some pictures today.

Apparently I still know how to cook a turkey. It’s been a few years since I really have had the opportunity to host a holiday feast. I have to admit, I really enjoy the whole production.
