Houston Roller Derby
Thursday, June 1st, 2006The Houston Roller Derby was in the Houston Chronicle last week. I went to my first meet a couple of weeks ago. They put on a good show, and the sport is fun to watch even if you don't know the rules. One or two of the skaters will sometimes join my Tuesday night skate group for some cross-training, so I have some added incentive to catch a game when I can. A worthwhile way to spend an evening if you're looking for something different to do.
